Call of the Wild.....Silenced

   Page 3

It's supposed to be a free country, with free speech, free religion, etc........

We only tried to be free, in captivity, and some cruel human took even that freedom away, someone who never spent a dime on food for us, or on a doctor bill, if we needed to go. Where is the freedom, the people who cared for us, weren't even free to do that, on their own, they didn't ask for anybody to interfere. What is the use, does the letter touch anyone out there? Does anyone really care?Weve heard that they did, but actually they were only complaints. This is just a letter from the wild, whose call, and cry had been silenced, as innocent victims who were helpless in their destruction, and without reasons, only excuses, that are senseless. There are 5 of us left, when originally, there were supposed to be 10, and we cry, and wonder, where our family went, and why they had to go, but we know, it wasn't their choice, nor the people who took care of us. We do know, who truly cares, and we do have feelings, personalities, and we are unique. We are a lot like humans, but yet: we speak our own language, and understand the human speech too. Yes, we have emotions, only not too many will believe it, and even less will take the time to see it. We do smile, we do jump for joy, and most of all, for this expression, we do cry, and there are tears that fall, from our eyes.

We must be going now, for our time here is done. We have our memories of where our life begun. For those of us who are gone, we are not forgotten; we are free from those who didn't care. To others who read this, we hope you will be "free" to care, and that you will "truly" care. May no one invade your privacy, and tear your heart out, or take away what you have cared about, for so long. Let Freedom live, even though it is being taken away. Stand for what is right, and against what is wrong. Everything has a right to live, but not a choice to die.

and they are friends for life.
